Your passion for historic gardens and landscapes can continue to thrive through a gift in your Will to the Gardens Trust. Every gift, large or small, helps us preserve, protect, and celebrate historic gardens and landscapes, ensuring they continue to bring joy, inspiration and pleasure to future generations.

Why Leave a Gift to the Gardens Trust?

For centuries, historic gardens and landscapes have provided a sanctuary for people and wildlife alike. They are living pieces of history, connecting us to the artistry and enthusiasms of past generations. Many only survive thanks to the commitment, passion and conservation efforts of those who care deeply about their significance.

By leaving a gift in your Will to the Gardens Trust, you can help us:

  • Protect and conserve threatened landscapes and gardens, preserving them for future generations.
  • Enhance biodiversity by protecting habitats within historic settings.
  • Share knowledge about the unique history and design of these landscapes.
  • Inspire young minds to value and participate in conservation.
  • Build stronger communities through engagement with local green spaces.

How Your Gift Will Make a Difference

Your gift will allow the Gardens Trust to:

  • Undertake our statutory work that helps protect and conserve designed landscapes at risk of change or destruction;
  • Work with and support volunteers and organisations who protect and campaign for the survival of our historic designed landscapes;
  • Share the significance and beauty of historic parks and gardens to all.
  • Champion the protection of historic landscapes by influencing planning and policy decisions.

Your legacy will directly impact how historic gardens and landscapes are nurtured, protected, and appreciated for years to come.

Types of Gifts You Can Leave
