STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE CHAIRMAN ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GARDENS TRUST
Few of us can remember a time when Queen Elizabeth II was not our Queen, and for all of us she has been a reassuring and constant presence in an ever-changing and restless World. Throughout her long reign, her unfailing commitment to her role of service at home to the nations of the United Kingdom, and abroad to the countries of the Commonwealth, has been an example without parallel to us all. She will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with our new King and members of the Royal Family at this sad time.
