Following the AGM, Linden Groves, landscape historian and Head of Operations and Strategy at the Gardens Trust, wanders through the fascinating history of how 18th century estates, Victorian parks, and post-war parks have been designed and adapted to capture children’s imaginations; and some of the ways children experience these landscapes today.

Introductory talk after which we will tour The Lyde, designed by Robert Adam, with a walled kitchen garden, water garden, parterres and sculptures, and a sunken aquatic garden created by the late Lord Carrington and The Manor House, his private garden.
